Monday, June 2: Spent the day traveling from Albany, New York to London, then Edinburgh, with several delays and layovers. Not fun.
Tuesday, June 3: We finally arrived in Edinburgh after being awake for 36 straight hours. Driving on the other side of the road (and the other side of the car) was a bit challenging for Dave at first, especially being so sleep-deprived, but he got the hang of it pretty quick. We stayed at the Fountain Court Apartments, which were very nice. We arrived at the hotel at 4:00pm U.K. time and went right to bed.
Welcome to Edinburgh!
Two cabs and a double-decker bus ~ totally U.K.!
Wednesday, June 4: We woke up refreshed and ready to conquer our only full day in Edinburgh. We had our first taste of Indian food from the U.K., and though it was good, it was much different than what we've experienced before here in New York.
Hey Cutie
St. John's Episcopal Church, located on Princes Street ~ the church was built between 1816 and 1818
Which way do we go?
Toward the castle, of course!
Construction, but beautiful nonetheless
